NEWS!  Naughty little monkey gets on the radio in Richmond!

Now you can get your fix of nlm before the next gig!  Richmond’s
newest radio station, WRIR-FM 97.3, a low-power station
(from Church Hill to Willow Lawn), is putting nlm on the radio.
If you’re outside the listening area, check them out on the web!

WRIR-FM bills itself as a fresh new voice in Richmond Indie Radio.
They’ve been on the air since January 1, 2005. According to their
website, “they  broadcast music you DON'T hear on the radio
dial with LIVE LOCAL DJ's doing REAL LIVE SHOWS.
In addition to…locally produced music shows, [they] offer a
wide range of National and Local news programming that covers
issues unrepresented by other media.”

One of WRIR’s shows is called "Activate!" “Activate! is a
musical spin on community calendars, sneak previews,
and coming distractions. Every band heard on Activate!
is scheduled to play in the Richmond area the week following
the show.

Listeners to "Activate!" will recognize the true
depth of Richmond's music scene - pop, jazz, bluegrass,
country, punk, reggae, metal, techno, hip-hop, and more.
Like the song you're listening to? At the end, you'll find out
where and when to see the band (and similar bands)
perform live, right here in our own community!”

And probably starting on Wednesday, March 16, you’ll hear
your favorite local band, naughty little monkey, a few days
before our gig at The Sin’e St. Patrick’s Day Celebration.

"Activate!" Is Wednesdays from 7pm - 9pm

But that’s not all. You might also hear naughty little monkey
on WRIR’s "Locals Only" program from 5pm - to 7pm on Saturdays!
