NEWS! The April 21 nlm show at Easy Street
was the band's chance to
get some newspaper ink! Ace music reporter Angie
Castlebury came by
to listen to some tunes, interview the guys in the band and
take a few photos.
And based on
her profile, which was published in the April 28, 2005 issue
of the Richmond Times-Dispatch Weekend Section, Angie
enjoyed the show.
"Naughty
Little Monkey swung into Easy Street last Thursday and
had the crowd going ape over a set of more than 40 tunes,
including original material and covers songs.
The band members are
neither disobedient nor miniature, and
they're definitely not monkeys, but because of their amusing
outlook,
the band name fits them perfectly. They are simply five
guys,
all friends, who get together each week to jam at practice
or at
a club to fill their weekend with music and monkey business."
